Scientific background
Vanessa completed her PhD in Zoology in 2014 at the University of Vienna in the Core Facility Cell Imaging and Ultrastructure Research. She joined IST Austria as a member of EMF in 2015.
Role
Her primary roles at EMF include biological sample preparation incl. microwave fixation, ultramicrotomy, SEM/3D-SEM, TEM and user training.
